Shirt / Blouses
Plain white, or white short-sleeved. Shirts/blouses are expected to be clearly tucked into trousers/skirts and offenders will face appropriate sanctions.
Black and in a design suitable and safe for school (no “trainers” or boots, trainer-style shoes or ‘daps’/cotton cloth or plimsolls). No shoe should have a heel of more than 7 cms. A heel is defined as from the floor to the bottom of the foot. High heeled shoes, or shoes with platform soles are potentially dangerous and increase the likelihood of the wearer tripping or falling on our stairs. For the same reason sling-back shoes are not acceptable. Please note that we do not allow Vans.
Grey, navy, black or white (ankle or three-quarter length). No trainer socks. Girls may wear natural, plain grey or black tights.
With the exception of any religious dress code requirements, which should be royal blue or black (or white in hot weather), no form of headwear is permitted in the school building. In inclement weather at break or lunch time, plain and appropriate headwear can be worn outside.
All pupils in Years 7-11 are encouraged to wear the royal blue sweatshirt in school and will be expected to wear it in school assemblies and on selected formal occasions.
Plain dark grey, navy, black or royal blue. No logos larger than 4 cms will be acceptable. No leather or simulated leather. Hoodies/track tops (or similar) are NOT to be worn.
Plain royal blue/black. A scarf may not be worn inside the school buildings.
Should have no unnatural colours and not be excessively short, with no elements of grade 1 or any lower cuts.
A plain white t-shirt may be worn as a vest underneath the school shirt but no coloured t-shirt with logos or roll neck will be permitted.
