Olchfa goes Green!

The members of Olchfa Eco-Committee have been working extremely hard over the last term and have achieved a Bronze Eco-Schools Certificate.
It highlights the fact that they have made a good start to improving the sustainability of the school. They will now be working towards gaining their Silver Certificate and ensuring all pupils follow the eco-code:
Put your litter in the bin,
Recycle paper, plastic and tin,
Reduce the energy that you waste,
A clean, green school is to everyone’s taste.
Year 7 Fund raising success

3 year 7 pupils organised a cake sale before Xmas, for Oxfam.
They’ve since received a letter to say that the money paid for an operation for a young girl (Sakeenya))to help cure a bad ankle that she suffers from. It means that she can still walk the 6 miles to school every day that she needs to.
