On 25 March, our students joined millions around the world to celebrate World Maths Day through live Mathletics challenges. We’re incredibly proud of two standout achievements:
• Minh (Year 7) — 1st place in the UK Year 7 Category
• Aydin (Year 10) — 2nd place in the UK Year 9+ Category

He was invited to deliver a speech and present alongside @lord_lieutenant_west_glamorgan, Louise Fleet. On Wednesday 29th April, he spoke to a group about the importance of a time‑critical healthcare case. Such an impressive achievement — well done, Adam!
Well done to our Young Enterprise team 'Barod' for winning the South Wales competition and proudly representing the school. Their inspiring business promotes sustainability by renting out prom dresses and suits, making them more accessible while tackling the impact of fast fashion. We wish them the best of luck in the Wales final next month! A big thank you to Miss Hutchings for all her support.

We are incredibly proud of Sixth Form students Joshua Wang and Tia Loo, who played a key role in co-organising the STAGE Showcase for Chinese Autism on 29 December 2025. They demonstrated outstanding commitment, leadership, and professionalism throughout the planning and delivery of the event. Their efforts were praised by attendees, including the Lord Lieutenant, Mrs Louise Fleet, who commended their maturity and attitude. The event was also featured on ITV News, highlighting its success. Joshua and Tia were a real credit to themselves and to Olchfa School. Well done!
