Published 27/06/25In June, our CHAT peer mentors went out to our feeder primary schools to get to know the year 6 pupils. They played games, talked about what life is like at Olchfa as well as answered a lot of questions! We are looking forward to having them with us for transition week coming up in July - it is going to be a great week!

Published 13/06/25Congratulations to Ava in year 8 who received a first-place achievement in the recent National Eisteddfod! Ava had to independently prepare her favourite dessert in the baking tent. She created a chocolate brownie, raspberry sorbet, and her own honeycomb, judged by Beca Lyne-Pirkis, a former Great British Bake Off contestant and S4C cookery show host. It was noted that the other finalists were older students; Ava appearing to be the only KS3 finalist. Well done Ava!

Published 13/06/25The u14 girls rugby team won the plate in the #Urdd tournament last term. There were over 40 school entries, which demonstrates their tremendous achievements.
